Re: The Countryside

Rayna snarls, Happily throwing all of her weight into the human with all the power she possibly could, Digging her teeth into his arm and putting her front paws on her chest before looking at the officer, Waiting for him to be arrested. She did all the moves so nicely, as if she was trained before, Which she was, and the 6 months taught her a lot. She raises her eyebrows, Hoping that they didn't noticed it was as if it was rehearsed for her, Being trained before, and the instincts burned into her head. She sits down, Letting go of the humans arm, But letting most of her weight go down on the humans chest to keep him on the ground. She looks up, Hoping that they wouldn't think she was crazy. She wonders if she should ask if they know how old she is, but she doesn't, As for it didn't seem like a good time. Most mistake her for around 3 or 4 years old, While others mistake her for 2 years and quite a few months old.

Chandler simply nods before limping forward with his teeth baring, Patrick picking the man up and placing his handcuffs on his wrists. "Anything you say can and will be used against you. So I suggest keeping your mouth shut this time." Patrick says coldly, leading him to the truck and putting him in before shutting and locking the door, holding the passenger side's door open for the canines. "Good job, kid." Chandler mutters, hesitating before jumping into the cab of the truck and sitting carefully.

Rayna smiles, Lowering her head before sitting with Chandler. She curls up, Almost instantly falling asleep after the long day. Soon she woke up, Trying to fall back asleep, but can't. She didn't even know why she couldn't sleep. She shrugs it off and sits up, proud of herself. She keeps licking her teeth and muzzle, trying to some what clean up. She kinda looked like a dog with peanut butter, a funny sight. She twitches her nose like a rabbit, Wondering why her previous owners had never gone through with making her ears stand, like a normal boxers. Sheba never knew what this was called, But around half the way through, they took off what Rayna calls "Ear casts" so her ears could be up or down, it depended on what she wanted, Though they sometimes acted like a pit bulls pinned back.

Chandler stares silently out of the car window, eyes narrowed slightly. He starts barking happily at the familiar sight of the station, and he jumps out as soon as Patrick opens the door, but the human grabs the canine's scruff quickly. Chandler looks up at him with a faint whine before fixing his posture to look like a K-9 officer as Patrick gets the person out of the vehicle and mutters under his breath, taking him in and whistling for another officer. Someone walks over and waits patiently as Patrick explains what was wrong, the officer taking the man and leading him away, while Chandler pads away from Patrick and looks around.

Rayna follows, Lowering her head as she walks. She sits next to the door, Not wanting to cause commotion for not being a police dog, unlike the others. She lowers her head more, flopping down. Her body was clearly strong and agile, Something she knew police officers looked for. She was still shocked no one remembered her, As for she was loved during her 6 months of training for her high intelligence. She shrugs it off, Looking around before sitting up, with a soldier like posture. She looks over to Chandler, Slowly walking over, as if asking permission for all of her actions. She lowers her head in attempts to show respect for the others before raising it again. Her half cut tail hung directly down, Straight. She sticks up her ears as a normal boxers would, Standing high up, as she raises her head all the way up for a "proud" walk.

Chandler glances over before dashing off to one of the officers, standing on his hind legs and placing his front paw and on their chest, sniffing at them and wagging his tail, careful to keep his prosthetic off of the human's chest as the officer ruffles the fur on his head, chuckling and giving the canine a quiet welcome back.

Rayna looks at chandler and the officer, Seeing the face as she remembers them. She wonders if they could remember her, Lowing her head as she sniffs their leg. She looks up, Sitting down before holding her ears in the proper, up right position and letting her eyebrows scrunch in and up. She widens her eyes, giving her a more puppy like look, in hopes to let the officer remember her. She sighs, looking at Chandler, saying kind of disappointed "No one here yet can remember me from my training..." her ears almost instantly flopping back down as she lays on her stomach.

He looks over with his head tilted, "How long ago was your training? They haven't gone through records of training a lot lately. As far as I know anyway." He barks at the officer and nods to Rayna, the human smiling warmly in greeting, before calling to Patrick and walking off to talk to him.

Rayna pins her ears back, much more like a pit bulls as she answers "6 months, But I learned more than normal..." she said the last half of her statement quietly, as for she was deeply loved here for her easy learning ability. She turns back to Chandler, then the human as she licks their hand. She wondered how they couldn't remember her looks and personality, As for she knew she met this officer before. Rayna lowers her head, Looking around, as for some reason she couldn't really remember the building. She shrugs it off has her terrible memory, As for she really could almost never fully remember areas, only faces.

He only nods before sniffing around eagerly, looking for the canines he grew up with, though he knows there's a chance a great deal of them aren't at the station anymore, either from disabilities or tragic ends. He lets his fur bristle as he passes Patrick's office, which he used to spend most of his time in keeping Patrick company when doing paperwork.

Rayna pins her ears down, Headed back out as she paws at the door to fling it open. It opens, Slowly shutting as she walks out. Rayna trots down the road with her head lowered, staring at the tar. Her ears almost hung over her face, her head swaying back and forth with her body as she trots. She sighs, Looking around before stopping, Sitting on the shoulder of the road. Rayna's head swings side to side before she lays down, Never being scared of a car running her over, as for most people were very careful of staying off the shoulder of the road in this area because of all the animals that learned the shoulder were safer than the middle. Rayna sighs, Resting her head on her over sized paws as she falls asleep. The black tar absorbed the heat, Warming the dog; though one side of her was still pretty much freezing.

Phoenix curled up around her peacefully snoring pups, her gaze softened as she licked their fur smooth, making them squirm. You still act like newborns. The mother thought with a smile, If Titan was still alive, he would've been so happy. But unfortunately, the black lupine was not alive. Phoenix rose slowly, her stirring made Uni and Dragon wake up. "Mommy, where are you going?" Dragon questioned, leaping out of the log after his mother. Uni followed suite, and soon the three wolves were making their way down to where Phoenix had last seen the pup that saved her life. She knew she had a debt to pay, and she had come to ask if the other canine needed help with anything.

Rayna huffs, Waking up as she looks around. She made her eyebrows "Dance" in a cute puppy like way, Like what a dog would do when it's guilty. She soon feels and hears her stomach rumble, To which she sniffs the air. After a few seconds of sniffing, She picks up a scent. She follows it, Finding a large herd of cattle. She lays to her stomach, Inching closer as one raises its head. The bull snorts, Alerting the cows as they all run to the back of the pasture. The bull charges up to her as she runs the other way. She puts her front paws on the wooden fence post, Throwing herself over it as she sighs. The bull runs into the fence, Causing her to jump forward and turn. She grins to see the bull turning back to his cows, as she slowly creeps back in. She stays close to the fence for a escape route, Running at one of the calfs and pulling it out as it thrashes. She runs under the fence and pulls the now lifeless calf out, Which had been maybe no older than 3 or 4 days old. Before even eating it she gets sick- for seemingly no reason. She then runs off, Leaving the food and puke behind. She runs off to the river, Whining and limping, but leaving almost no scent.

Leaving "The Countryside" for "The River"

Re: The Countryside

Post by Kyra on Thu Apr 21, 2016 3:48 pm

Klyra sits in the field, watching with envy as her brother listens closely to the cattle. She gets up as he motions her over, and starts at a light jog over to the larger husky. She cocks her head to the side in question and he nods over to a stray cow. She nods and stalks through the grass, before launching her lithe, petite figure after the now startled cow, chasing it back to the herd and snapping at her heels when she tries to veer away from the canine. At the sight of his sister starting to give up, Archer sprints over and Kyra can tell by his curled lip and bared teeth that he's snarling at the cow. Once the female is safely back with the herd, the siblings sit near the fence, only getting up when their humans start leading the cattle back, the two canines at a light jog in the back, postures alert and ready to run.

Re: The Countryside

Post by Steel on Tue Apr 26, 2016 3:27 pm

Steel runs around, Barking at every little shadow she sees- Even her own. A gust of wind comes up, Blowing a leaf, Which she chases and barks at as loud as possible, Her tail wagging in circles, up and down, then left and right. She puts her front legs a bit apart from eachother, Head bent down to see the ground. She barks at the ground, Looking around, Her head moving fast, Panting. She soon hears a twig snap, Barking loudly and rapidly at that- Like gunfire. She runs after it, Her long legs easily jumping over sticks. She soon sees a chimpmunk, and the branch that fell. She barks at the chimpmunk, Then looking down to see the reflection of her collar from the sun. She barks at the light, Making her head go up and down, Which makes the light move. She makes a howling noise, Tail still wagging crazily as she bows to it, Making the loudest, most hound like mixture of a whine and a bark possible as she wants to be able to attack the light. Soon, she paws at it, Digging a huge hole in attempts to find it. She starts to hear a door open, So she turns to that. The metal door had a window, Which made the reflection light on the grass. As it opened, The light went across the yard. Steel barks rapidly again, Running after it as it moves faster, The door slamming on the railing of the porch. She yelps at the noise, Cowering and limping back. The person screams at her "Shut up, Gunpowder!
"
Before headed back in the house. Steel runs off, Down the shoulder of the road. A car goes by, Blowing a leaf in her direction, So she bites at it, Snapping it in her strong jaws. She walks away with it proudly, Trotting with her legs going high, And throwing her head around. She plays with the leaf, Throwing it in the air and running to catch it where ever the wind blew it.

Kyra and Archer sprint after the herd, snapping at their heels and splitting away when they near the pasture. They then pad off to the porch to rest, panting lightly with their heads low. 'Good girl.' Their owner signs, before looking at Archer and speaking, from what Kyra can see he's being praised as well.

Post by Steel on Tue Apr 26, 2016 6:02 pm

Steel prances by a farm, Seeing two dogs. ADHD get's the best of her, and she throws the leaf around and catches it, pretty much asking to play. Alot of people, actually almost everyone in the area knows her by Gunpowder, But some knew her as Steel, and only 3 knew her as Silver. She bows her head to the ground, Dropping the leaf at her paw, and letting her butt follow and fall to the ground. Soon she rolls to her back, Waving the front part of her body back and forth, along with the back part, But they were going at opposites. A strong wind gust comes and blows away her leaf, So she shoots up and chases after it, catching it and doing the same proud walk before throwing it around. Steel never had a human that really cared about her, But she loved making friends with dogs. When she sees the human, She almost instantly freezes, Backing up to the farthest shoulder in the road at the other side, whining and making hound like barks mixed with yelps.

Archer curls up on the porch with a huff, and Kyra paces quietly at his side, her tail lashing and head low. Her posture quickly straightens at the sight of a passing canine, her head tilted. Archer lifts his head at the sight of his sister no longer pacing. He shoots her a questioning glance before his bright eyes land on the canine, his protective nature taking over as he steps in front of his deaf sister.

Steel whines and yelps, Trying to back up farther, but she can't due to a ditch. She starts shaking, Whining and yelping without stop, Lowering her head and bending her legs to look smaller, though she was really just a huge dog. Her tail shakes and goes to the middle of her legs, Waving across her stomach. She turns to the side, Trying to get down the ditch. If she went down the road, She would run into one of her past owners, who absolutly hated her. She bends down to start leaping, Stopping and falling onto her back when she sees how far away it is. She looks behind her and keeps whining, Bowing her head and lifting up each paw at different times- as if the ground was too hot and she didn't want her pads to touch it. She sighs, still whining as she falls to her side in submissive actions.

Archer sniffs at the air and twitches his ears, while Kyra slowly pads down the steps and starts sniffing around as well, seeing as she'd be no help listening for anything. "Kyra, no." He growls, gaze landing on a canine, though he knows that's not doing him any good to warn off his sister. "Who are you and why are you here?" He calls, Kyra finally looking up and tilting her head at the sight of the dog.

Steel shoots up, Bowing her head and quitly saying with a shaky voice "I'm Steel, But some people call me Gunpowder or Silver..." Then she seemed to go in to a deep thought, thinking how to explain to the canines that she was wandering. A dog breed like this never really wandered without a owner, so that'd be suspicious. She pins her ears back, Explaining the whole story "I'm bipolar, and I have ADHD, so no one wants me, I was roaming the road and saw you guys... I'm scared of people though, They used to Hurt me really bad..." Her voice quiet, clearly puppy-ish, and hard to hear, Though it was easily possible. Her big blue eyes open wide as she slowly limps across the road to the closer shoulder again, Shaking rapidly and whining as she is forced to get closer to the humans. She bows her head down, Looking at the two out of the top of her eye, But her eyes never stop moving from the house, to one dog, to the other.

Steel nods, Understanding as she sees a birds shadow in the middle of the road. She runs at it, Barking and growling as she scratches at it. She controls herself, Whining as she forces herself to walk away. She stares at the humans house, Her ears focused on the strangers though. She gets a bit brave, Trotting up to the strangers without hesitation. She sits down in front of them, Bowing her head to show respect despite her actions. She bows to Archer, Grabbing a leaf and throwing it in the air in a playful way. She goes to her hind legs and springs up, Catching it as she brings it back to Archer, Dropping it at his paw as she hopes at least one of them had energy to play. She darts her head to the woods, Hearing leaves crunching from the wind, which had alerted her. She shakes it off, Looking back to Kyra and Archer in hopes of a friend. She was much larger than the dogs, But a huge sweetheart, and great playmate.

Kira crouches down playfully and paw sat her, while Archer sits and watches with his ears pricked, as he's never been a playful canine growing up. "Kyra's full of energy, I'm not, though. I feel older than we are." He huffs, shaking his head slightly.

Steel quickly smiles, Bowing and wagging her tail at Kyra. She throws the leaf back in the air, The breeze taking it as she sprints after it, Constantly looking around to make sure Kyra is ok. Steel had odd looking fur, As for it was very soft, silky and long, not that of a normal dog. Her eyes are a sky blue, not very odd for her breed. She was oddly skinny, And any meat she did have was all muscle, it wasn't very clearly seen through her long pelt as she ran, But it was clear her muscles were tensing. She was very agile as well, and large, a odd combination. Steel slows down, Watching the leaf float around as she turns back to Kyra, Wagging her tail and letting the canine pass her.
